Sri Lankan PM leaves for Indonesia to attend global forum

Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on Monday left for Indonesia to attend the 12th World Islamic Economic Forum where he is expected to give a speech.

A statement from the Prime Minister's office said that during his visit, Wickremesinghe will hold discussions with Indonesian President Joko Widodo and will meet leaders of Malaysia and Jordan on the sidelines of the summit.

This is Wickremesinghe's first visit to Indonesia after being sworn in as the country's prime minister in August last year. Endit
