Chinese vice president meets with Cambodian guest

Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao met with Cambodia's National Assembly President Samdech Heng Samrin in Beijing Tuesday.

During the meeting, Li thanked Cambodia for its impartial stance and speaking out for justice on the South China Sea issue.

He also urged both sides to work on development strategies and to enhance cooperation in fields including industry, economy and trade, investment, culture, law enforcement and security, through making good use of the intergovernmental coordinating committee mechanism.

Heng Samrin said Cambodia and China trust and support each other, pledging that his country stands ready to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation with China and to continue to work for advancing friendship between the two countries. Endi
