Dollar in upper 105 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 105 yen zone in early deals on Tuesday morning in Tokyo, marginally lower from levels seen on Monday in New York.

From the beginning of trading the dollar was quoted at 105.60-61 yen compared with 105.76-86 yen in New York and 106.27-30 yen at 5 p.m. on Monday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0989-0989 dollars and 116.03-05 yen against 1.0992-1002 dollars and 116.23-33 yen in New York and 1.0965-0967 dollars and 116.54-58 yen in late afternoon trade in Tokyo on Monday. Endit
