Spanish stock market falls 0.28 pct, closes at 8,575 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.28 percent on Monday to close at 8,575.70 points, down from the 8,599.90 points of Friday.

On Monday's session, Banco Santander shares led falls losing 2.29 percent, followed by Repsol, Bankia, BBVA, DIA and Banco Popular that lost 1.79 percent, 1.56 percent, 1.50 percent, 0.71 percent and 0.63 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, Indra A shares led rises climbing 2.52 percent, followed by Acciona, ArcelorMittal, ACS, Grifols and Amadeus that rose 2.38 percent, 1.81 percent, 1.45 percent, 1.26 percent and 1.13 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.12 percent and Spain's risk premium closed at 115.60 points, both showing no big differences when compared with Friday's closing time. Endit
