The following are highlights of South African major media outlets on Sunday.

-- President Jacob Zuma says he's going to "crush" the Democratic Alliance and no speaker can call him to order.

He was speaking to thousands of ANC supporters in Nelson Mandela Bay in the Eastern Cape on Saturday. (Business Day).

-- Former president Thabo Mbeki has been and remains a member of the African National Congress in good standing, his spokesperson Mukoni Ratshitanga said on Saturday.

In a statement, Ratshitanga said that any information not provided by the ANC or the Thabo Mbeki Foundation "has no factual basis and is most likely generated to impact on the outcome of the August 3 Local Government elections". (News24).

-- Political parties are continuing with their election campaigns on Sunday, with just ten days to go to the Local Government Elections.
