Xinhua, July 24, 2016 Adjust font size:

Pakistan on Sunday condemned the attack in the German city of Munich that killed at least 10 people and injured 16 others on Friday evening.

An 18-year-old opened fire in a shopping mall in Munich before killing himself. The lone shooter held dual citizenship of Germany and Iran and lived in Munich, according to media reports.

Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said here that the government of Pakistan condemns the "terrible attack" in a shopping mall in Munich.

A statement said the government and people of Pakistan extend their heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Germany on this horrifying tragedy.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families and we wish a speedy recovery to the injured. Pakistan stands in solidarity with Germany in this hour of grief," it said. Endit
