Xinhua, July 23, 2016 Adjust font size:

Pakistan on Saturday strongly condemned the dastardly terrorist acts in Kabul that resulted in heavy casualties.

"The government and the people of Pakistan extend their sincere condolences and profound sympathies to the families of the bereaved people and convey their earnest prayers and wishes for early recovery of those injured in this heinous act of terrorism," Pakistan's foreign ministry said in a statement.

The statement said Pakistan reiterates its unequivocal condemnation of terrorism in all forms and manifestations and reaffirms commitment for continued efforts and cooperation for eliminating this menace.

At least 61 people were killed and 207 others wounded after a deadly blast hit a peaceful protest in Afghan capital of Kabul on Saturday, a health official told Xinhua in Kabul. Endit
