Albania recycles one fourth of its total waste

Albania recycled 25.3 percent of the total waste it produced in 2015, according to reports of the Albanian daily News on Saturday.

The figure was 21 percent in 2014, said the reports, citing the latest data from the Albanian Institute of Statistics (INSTAT).

According to the data, some 30 percent of the country's total waste can be recycled, and only 1.5 percent of the waste produced in 2015 was burned to produce energy in Albania. Endi
