-- The process of establishing a commission of inquiry into politically related killings in KwaZulu-Natal has begun, the office of the premier said.

This comes after the African National Congress in the province this week called on the KwaZulu-Natal government to urgently establish a commission after two of its members were killed hours apart on Monday.(News24)

-- International Relations and Corporation Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane has urged the North West University to reflect the role of the province in the fight for liberation.
