Albania sees robust agricultural growth in first half of 2016

Albania's agriculture, one of the country's leading sectors, has showed encouraging growth in the first half of the year, the Albanian Daily News said on Thursday.

In the first 6 months of 2016, the country's exports of agricultural, livestock and food processing products grew by 28 percent year-on-year, according to official data released by the agriculture ministry.

Farming and livestock products are the sectors contributing the most to the export growth, the data showed.

The export of agricultural products increased by 27 percent compared with a year ago, according to the agriculture ministry. Endi
