Dollar changes hands in lower 106 yen zone in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 106 yen zone early Wednesday morning in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 106.13-14 yen compared with 106.09-19 yen in New York and 105.95-97 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.1014-1014 dollars and 116.87-91 yen against 1.1018-1028 dollars and 116.92-117.02 yen in New York and 1.1059-1060 dollars and 117.17-21 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Endit
