Xinhua, July 19, 2016 Adjust font size:

Three people died in a shooting Tuesday near a swimming pool in Lincolnshire, north England, but local police denied any link with terrorism.

"We can confirm that there has been a firearms incident on Pinchbeck Road in Spalding in the vicinity of the Castle Swimming Pool. Three people have been fatally wounded, including the suspected offender," a police statement said.

An investigation is underway and the police said they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

"There is no indication that this is a terrorist related incident and no shots have been fired by police," the statement said.

The police also urged the public to stay away from the shooting area. Endi
