Two new lines to be added to Bolivia's modern cableway system

Bolivian President Evo Morales said Friday that two new cable car lines will be built for La Paz with government investment of 110 million U.S. dollars.

That will make a total of 11 lines with over 794 million dollars invested in the aerial transport network connecting adjacent cities of La Paz and El Alto, the second- and third-largest cities.

Oruro and Potosi could be the next cities to receive a cableway, though only for tourist service. Endi
