Spanish stock market falls 0.25 pct, closes at 8,531 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex 35 fell 0.25 percent on Friday to close at 8,531 points, down from the 8,552.30 points of Thursday.

Share values were up 4.2 percent in the week as a whole with Spain's risk premium going from 131.10 points on Monday to the 121.90 of Friday closing time and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate going from the 1.1 percent of Monday to the 1.2 percent of Friday closing time.

On Friday session, Mapfre shares led falls losing 1.85 percent, followed by Acerinox, Banco Popular, Gas Natural, Mediaset and ArcelorMittal that lost 1.49 percent, 1.34 percent, 0.94 percent, 0.89 percent and 0.89 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Ferrovial shares led rises climbing 0.75 percent, followed by Bankia, Indra A, Merlin, AENA and Iberdrola that rose 0.45 percent, 0.43 percent, 0.37 percent, 0.36 percent and 0.30 percent respectively. Endit
