Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Presidency Chairman Bakir Izetbegovic sent a letter of condolence to French President Francois Hollande on behalf of the BiH presidency, in which he conveyed his country's deepest condolences to the families of the victims.

"We are sincerely disturbed by the news of the horrific terrorist attack that took place in Nice, in which dozens of innocent people lost their lives at the celebration of the national day of the French Republic," the letter read.

"This terrorist attack confirmed the fact that terrorism is the greatest security challenge in today's world. Therefore today, faced with these new attacks, we stand firmly with you and the French people, with the assurance that you will find strength to resist the mindless terror and violence," it went on.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdic sent a letter of condolence to French Prime Minister Manuel Valls over the terrorist attack in Nice, expressing his shock at the event and extending solidarity.

"I am sure that with joint efforts we can and we must fight against all forms of terrorism and do our best to preserve peace in the world," Zvidic said. Endit
