PSG's Digne leaves for Barca

Xinhua, July 14, 2016 Adjust font size:

French champions Paris Saint-Germain confirmed Thursday the move of Lucas Digne from the capital side to former Spanish La Liga champions FC Barcelona.

"Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona have concluded on Thursday the transfer of the fullback," read an official announcement on PSG's website.

The French international, 22 years old, has just finished his Euro 2016 journey with the national side reaching the continental tournament's final.

Digne joined PSG in 2013 and had played 44 games and won two Ligue 1 title, one Coupe de France and three Trophees des Champions with Les Parisiens before spending the last season on loan with Italian Serie A's AS Roma.

"The club would like to thank Lucas for his professionalism and wishes him the best for his new challenges," added the PSG news release. Endit
