Singapore stocks close 0.13 pct lower

Singapore stocks finished lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 3.73 points, or 0.13 percent, to close at 2,906.92.

A total of 538.7 million shares changed hands with turnover of 335.2 million Singapore dollars (248.3 million U.S. dollars).

Decliners outnumbered gainers 144 to 123, while 640 others finished unchanged.

The STI index gained 8.83 points, or 0.30 percent, to close at 2,910.65 on Tuesday. Endit
