Xinhua, July 13, 2016 Adjust font size:

A girl, four to six years old, drowned after a boat carrying refugees capsized off the coasts of the Lesvos island of Greece, Greek national news agency AMNA reported Wednesday.

At least 11 undocumented migrants and refugees were on board the boat en route from Turkey to Greece, coast guard sources quoted survivors as saying.

Four people were rescued and the child's body was recovered by the Greek navy and the coast guard. A rescue mission with the support of European border agency Frontex is underway to locate the missing. Endi
