29 people injured in accident in Central Sri Lanka

At least 29 people including six school students were injured when the passenger bus they were travelling in wheeled off the road and crashed into a wall in central Sri Lanka, on Monday, the police said.

The accident occurred on the Kandy, Madulkelle main road.

The injured were rushed to Madulkelle Base hospital by police and residents in the area.

Police are conducting further investigations. Endit
