Security forces have captured six terrorists in the eastern Nangarhar province, spokesman for provincial government Attaullah Khogiani said Monday.

"Six terrorists, all Afghans and loyal to the Taliban and Islamic State group have been detained from Kot, Achin and Hisarak districts over the past few days," Khogiani told reporters in a press conference here.

Investigation has been initiated to track down more terrorists and their networks in the province, the official asserted.

Neither Taliban outfit nor Islamic State group has commented on the report. Endit
