Spanish stock market rises 1.03 pct

The Spanish stock market index, Ibex-35, rose 1.03 percent on Thursday to close at 8,008.20 points, up from the 7,926.20 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday's session, Tecnicas Reunidas shares led rises spiking 6.23 percent, followed by Gas Natural, Indra A, IAG, Telefonica and Mediaset that rose 3.07 percent, 2.29 percent, 2.28 percent, 2.23 percent and 2.17 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Banco Popular shares led falls losing 1.05 percent, followed by Gamesa, Bankia, Bankinter, Banco Sabadell and Mapfre that lost 1.01 percent, 0.49 percent, 0.39 percent, 0.37 percent and 0.11 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 135.20 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.17 percent, both showing no differences when compared with Wednesday. Endit
