Singapore bank closed due to suspected robbery

A Standard Chartered branch in Singapore was closed due to suspected robbery Thursday afternoon, according to local media.

Witness said that the bank at Holland Village has been closed at around noon. The area was now cordoned off.

In response to media queries, a police spokesman confirmed that a report has been lodged and investigations are ongoing. But it has not confirmed whether it was bank robbery. Endit
