China's political advisors discussed supply-side structural reform on Wednesday.

Yu Zhengsheng, chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee, presided over the symposium.

Attendees at the meeting voiced opinions and raised proposals involving clean energy, poverty relief and growth of central and western regions.

Supply-side structural reforms are designed to balance supply and demand, with innovation and creation as the centerpiece, Yu said.

He urged political advisors to carry out in-depth research, pinpoint and voice problems, and put forward opinions and suggestions. Endi
