Valencia announce signing of Portuguese international 'Nani'

Spanish Primera Liga club Valencia on Tuesday confirmed the signing of Portuguese international winger Nani.

The 29-year-old Nani, who has been one of Portugal's best players as his nation has battled to a Euro 2016 semifinal meeting against Wales on Wednesday, has agreed a three-year deal to sign for the Spanish club from Turkish club Fenerbahce.

He will be presented at Valencia's Mestalla Stadium at the end of the European Championship, before enjoying a holiday and then rejoining the Valencia squad, which on Monday became the first in Spain to begin pre-season training.

Nani began his career with Sporting Club de Portugal before moving to Manchester United where he spent eight seasons without ever quite fulfilling his promise.

He returned to Sporting for the 2014 season, before moving to Turkey for last season, scoring 12 goals in 45 appearances for Fenerbahce. Enditem
