Dollar changes hands in mid-102 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-102 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, largely in line with rates seen in New York at the end of last week.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 102.43-53 yen compared with 102.50-60 yen in New York and 102.54-56 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1128-1130 dollars and 113.99-114.01 yen against 1.1138-1148 dollars and 114.22-32 yen in New York and 1.1106-1108 dollars and 113.88-92 yen in late trade on Friday afternoon in Tokyo. Endit
