JSE closes lower on Friday

The Johannesburg Stock Exchange dipped on Friday as investors locked in gains in some stocks following a strong recovery in the past three days.

The all-share index fell 0.27 percent to 52,357.50 points at the close of trading session of Friday.

Banks and financial indices gave up 0.86 percent and 0.10 percent respectively, while gold had risen 1.10 percent to 1,335.82 U.S. dollars an ounce by close of session on Friday. Endit
