Spanish stock market rises 1.29 pct, closes at 8,268 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 1.29 percent on Friday to close at 8,268.90 points, up from the 8,163.30 points of Thursday.

Share values were up 6.17 percent in the week as a whole after having started the week with losses due to the impact of Brexit.

On Friday session ArcelorMittal shares led rises climbing 7.67 percent, followed by Banco Popular, Acerinox, ACS, IAG and Abertis A that rose 5.73 percent, 4.37 percent, 3.36 percent, 2.53 percent and 2.50 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Endesa shares led falls losing 0.78 percent, followed by Iberdrola, Merlin and Grifols that lost 0.44 percent, 0.39 percent and 0.02 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 126.90 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.15 percent, both below the 156.60 points and 1.4 percent of Monday closing time. Endit
