LME base metals increase on Friday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher on Friday.

The three-month unofficial copper price increased 74 U.S. dollars, or 1.54 percent, to 4,888 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 18 U.S. dollars, or 1.09 percent, to 1,663.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price increased 67 U.S. dollars, or 3.78 percent, to 1,838 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial zinc price increased 53 U.S. dollars, or 2.53 percent, to 2,149 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 450 U.S. dollars, or 4.82 percent, to 9,785 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased 385 U.S. dollars, or 2.26 percent, to 17,400 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
