Montella named AC Milan coach

Xinhua, June 29, 2016 Adjust font size:

Vincenzo Montella has been appointed Serie A side AC Milan coach on a two-year deal, the club said on Tuesday.

Montella left Sampdoria to replace Cristian Brocchi, who resigned Monday.

Milan is expected to pay Sampdoria a release fee of about one million euros for the 42-year-old.

AC Milan is reported to be on the verge of changing ownership as a pool of Chinese investors are interested.

China's retail giant Suning Group acquired 70 percent stake in AC Milan's crosstown rivals Inter early this month. Enditem
