Air Namibia to suspend flights to Botswana's Maun

Xinhua, June 21, 2016 Adjust font size:

Namibia's national airline -- Air Namibia -- will indefinitely suspend flights to Maun, Botswana from Windhoek on October 30.

In a statement on its Travel Website, the airline said affected passengers would be accommodated on alternative flights or refunded, while flights on the Windhoek-Victoria Falls route will continue to operate as normal.

Meanwhile, Air Namibia announced in 2013 the termination of its Windhoek - Gaborone route because of commercial reasons, which included low passenger volumes which did not look promising enough for the national airline to continue with that route. Enditem
