Manufacturing becomes Albania's main exporting sector

The manufacturing sector has generated the largest share of export value in Albania between 2012 and 2015, Albanian Daily News reported on Tuesday.

In 2015, the manufacturing sector made up 80.6 percent of the total value of the country's exports, an increase of 3.9 percent compared with 2012.

Exports to the European Union, which account for 80.2 percent of all manufacturing exports, increased by 7.7 percent compared with 2012, with the biggest export destination being Italy.

Exports to central Europe reached 10.3 percent, an increase of 2.8 percent compared with 2012. Endi
