British FTSE 100 rises 3.04 pct on Monday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday rose by 3.04 percent, or 182.91 points, to 6,204.00 points.

Share price of Hargreaves Lansdown increased by 7.81 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Lloyds Banking Group, Royal Bank of Scotland Group, Taylor Wimpey and Barratt Developments increased by 7.61 percent, 7.02 percent, 6.82 percent and 6.77 percent, respectively.

There were only three losers among the blue chips on Monday. They were Randgold Resources (1.44 percent), Rexam (0.56 percent), Fresnillo (0.24 percent). Enditem
