Dollar changes hands in upper 104 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar in early trade on Friday morning changed hands in the upper 104 yen range in Tokyo, rising from levels seen overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 104.80-83 yen compared with 104.20-30 yen in New York and 103.93-94 yen in Tokyo on Thursday at 5 p.m..

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1269-1269 dollars and 118.08-10 yen against 1.1218-1228 dollars and 116.99-117.09 yen in New York and 1.1272-1274 dollars and 117.15-19 yen in late trade on Thursday afternoon in Tokyo. Endit
