A highway bridge collapsed partially at its construction site on late Wednesday afternoon in the German state of Bavaria, killing at least two person and injuring six other people seriously.

The incident, happened in the district of Lower Franconia, also causes a number of people to be hurt slightly, local media Bavarian Radio cited its police source.

A police spokesperson said that it is unclear at the moment, whether there are still more workers buried under the rubble.

According to the spokesperson, about 20 workers were working on the cite when the bridge suddenly collapsed some 20 meters to the ground. Endit
