Chinese vice president meets Sierra Leone's FM

Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao on Wednesday met here with Sierra Leone's Foreign Minister Samura Kamara.
Li hailed the sound development of bilateral ties in the past 45 years, calling on both sides to implement the consensus reached by leaders of both countries.
He encouraged the two countries to grasp the opportunity of the ten cooperation plans put forward by Chinese President Xi Jinping during the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) summit in Johannesburg, South Africa in last December, give full play to the complementary advantages of both countries' economy, forge ahead pragmatic cooperation in various fields so as to realize common development.
Kamara said Sierra Leone and China enjoy brotherly traditional friendship.
Sierra Leone thanks China for its valuable support in the country's national construction, and expects to achieve greater progress in cooperation with China, Kamara said.
Also on Wednesday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks with Kamara.
Wang said China is willing to take an active part in the economic and social reconstruction after the Ebola epidemic ended in Sierra Leone as well as deepen cooperation in various fields. Endi
