British FTSE 100 decreased 1.16 pct on Monday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday decreased by 1.16 percent, or 70.79 points, to 6,044.97 points.

Share price of Fresnillo increased by 1.57 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Royal Bank of Scotland Group, Inmarsat, Randgold Resources and Rio Tinto increased by 1.03 percent, 1.00 percent, 0.68 percent and 0.49 percent respectively.

Lloyds Banking Group led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 4.21 percent, following by Sky (3.67 percent), Hargreaves Lansdown (2.92 percent), Standard Chartered (2.91 percent) and Schroders (2.90 percent). Endit
