Peru's net international reserves (NIR) totaled 60.5 billion U.S. dollars by June 7, the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP) said Saturday.

According to a BCRP report, the figure equals to 32 percent of the country's gross domestic product (GDP) and about 20 months of the country's imports.

The BCRP noted that these reserves are mainly made up of international liquid assets.
