Famous ex-Nigerian coach Shaibu dies at 58

Famous and former Super Eagles coach Amodu Shaibu has died at the age of 58, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirmed on Saturday.

Shaibu's death came three days after that of former Super Eagles captain and coach, Stephen Keshi, 54, in southern city of Benin on Wednesday.

The federation said Shaibu, who was its technical director, had complained of chest pain on Friday night and died in his sleep.

The southeast Edo State born football tactician had coached the national team on four different occasions. Endit
