Spanish stock market falls 0.71 pct

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.71 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,831.40 points, down from the 8,894.50 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday session, Banco Popular shares led falls losing 3.97 percent, followed by Caixabank, OHL, Ferrovial, IAG and BBVA that lost 2.67 percent, 2.62 percent, 2 percent, 1.98 percent and 1.88 percent respectively.

On the other hand, ArcelorMittal shares led rises climbing 2.93 percent, followed by Tecnicas Reunidas, Enagas, R.E.C., Iberdrola and Merlin that rose 1.83 percent, 1.39 percent, 0.71 percent, 0.46 percent and 0.43 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 137.30 points, which was below the 141.60 points of Tuesday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.4 percent, showing no differences since Tuesday closing time. Endit
