Spanish stock market rises 0.80 pct

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.80 percent on Tuesday to close at 8,894.50 points, up from the 8,823.50 points of Monday.

On Tuesday session Mediaset shares led rises climbing 3.40 percent, followed by OHL, Sacyr, Gas Natural, Enagas and Indra A that rose 3.07 percent, 2.96 percent, 2.56 percent, 2.53 percent and 2.29 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Banco Popular shares led falls losing 2.88 percent, followed by Bankia, DIA, Inditex, IAG and FCC that lost 0.39 percent, 0.20 percent, 0.08 percent, 0.04 percent and 0.03 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 141.60 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.47 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Monday closing time. Endit
