British FTSE 100 rises 0.18 pct on Tuesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Tuesday rose by 0.18 percent, or 11.13 points, to 6,284.53 points.

Share price of Royal Dutch Shell A increased by 3.23 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Royal Dutch Shell B, Burberry Group, Next and DCC increased by 3.07 percent, 2.13 percent, 2.05 percent and 1.66 percent respectively.

Anglo American led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.07 percent, followed by Glencore (2.85 percent), Antofagasta (2.20 percent), Direct Line Insurance Group (1.76 percent) and Prudential (1.75 percent). Endit
