Austrian pork producers hoping to begin export to China soon

Xinhua, June 7, 2016 Adjust font size:

Austrian pork producers are hoping to overcome a slump in prices with the potential opening of the Chinese market as an export destination increasingly closer to becoming a reality.

Discussions and negotiations between the two countries on the export of pork have been going on for several years.

An audit of relevant Austrian producers is reportedly set to take place mid-June, and if approval is given, the pork can then be exported to China. Endit
