"The body of Sholgara district police chief Bismillah Khan along with two of his injured bodyguards have been taken to hospital in Mazar-e-Sharif city on this morning," Rabi told Xinhua.

According to the official, Bismillah Khan lost his life in a roadside bomb blast and two of his bodyguards sustained injuries on the way to Mazar-e-Sharif city to attend a security meeting.
