Burundian ruling party, the National Council for the Defense of Democracy-Forces for the Defense of Democracy (CNDD-FDD), is willing to learn the Communist Party of China (CPC)'s experience on state governance in order to improve its governing capacity, Burundian President Pierre Nkurunziza said Tuesday.

Nkurunziza made the remarks while meeting with a CPC friendship delegation led by Duan Yuying, deputy secretary of the Work Committee for Departments Directly Under the CPC Central Committee.

During the meeting, Nkurunziza said Burundi thanked China's support to help the country get through the post-election crisis.

Duan said the CPC hoped to deepen exchange with the CNDD-FDD and promote bilateral ties. Endit
