-- The Indian government has approved 40 million U.S. dollars to help mechanize the agriculture sector and improve productivity money smallholder farmers in Zambia.
Indian high commissioner to Zambia Gaddam Dharmendra said most stallholder farmers were struggling to access equipment, a situation that was affecting their production.(ZAMBIA DAILY MAIL)
-- Former Zambian First Lady Maureen Mwanawasa successfully filed in her nomination papers to contest for the position of mayor of Lusaka, the Zambian capital.
