Four Bangladeshi workers detained under Internal Security Act (ISA) were found guilty of financing terrorism in Singapore, local media reported on Tuesday.

The four, Rahman Mizanur, Miah Rubel, Md Jabath Kysar Haje Norul Islam Sowdagar and Sohel Hawlader Ismail Hawlader, are of the six Bangladeshi workers who were charged under the Terrorism (Suppression of Financing) Act (TSOFA) on May 27.

The four all pleaded guilty to between one and two counts each of providing or collecting hundreds of dollars to help finance terror attacks on Tuesday.

The 31 year-old Rahman Mizanur, who had set up the group called Islamic State in Bangladesh, pleaded guilty to two of four charges against him. The remaining two charges will be taken into consideration during sentencing.

The four men who pleaded guilty are expected to be sentenced on June 21. While the other two Bangladeshi workers, Zzaman Daulat and Mamun Leakot Ali, have denied the charges. A pre-trial conference for them has been set on June 9.

Singapore's Ministry of Home Affairs on May 3 announced that eight radicalized male Bangladeshi nationals were detained under the Internal Security Act (ISA). The six charged men are of the eight who had planned to conduct attacks back home in the hope of toppling the Bangladeshi government and been arrested. Enditem
