Chinese, Egyptian PMs swap congratulations on anniversary of diplomatic ties

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has exchanged congratulatory messages with his Egyptian counterpart Sherif Ismail recently to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic ties.
Li said in his message that since the establishment of diplomatic relations, China and Egypt have always supported, respected and trusted each other, and their traditional friendship has been strengthened with time.
In recent years, China-Egypt relations have been developing rapidly. The two nations have established a comprehensive strategic partnership, with the scope and depth of bilateral cooperation in various fields continuing to expand, Li added.
The Chinese premier expressed China's willingness to make joint efforts with Egypt to promote bilateral friendship and deepen their mutually-beneficial cooperation in all fields, so as to benefit the two nations and their people.
Ismail said in his message that Egypt and China have enjoyed a long history of cooperation in various fields. He hopes the deep friendship between the two nations will be strengthened, and the two governments will continue to work closely to bring more benefits to the Egyptian and Chinese people. Endi
