NEEQ turnover in China continues to rise

Total turnover on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ) continued to rise in the past week.

From May 23 to 27, transaction volume on the NEEQ rose more than 5.53 percent from the previous week to 3.28 billion yuan (around 500 million U.S. dollars).

Last week, 111 enterprises debuted on the market.

So far, there have been 7,394 companies listed on the NEEQ with total market capitalization of more than 3 trillion yuan.

The NEEQ is the market for Chinese startup companies to transfer their shares for fund-raising. Endi
