U.S. stocks rise amid Yellen speech, GDP data

U.S. stocks ended higher Friday, as investors assessed comments from U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen amid U.S. economic growth data.

The Dow added 0.25 percent, and the S&P 500 gained 0.43 percent, while the Nasdaq increased 0.65 percent. Endit
