British FTSE 100 rose 0.08 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, the British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday rose by 0.08 percent, or 5.14 points, to 6,270.79 points.

Share price of Royal Mail increased by 2.01 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Carnival, United Utilities Group, 3i Group and Next increased by 1.98 percent, 1.68 percent, 1.66 percent and 1.65 percent, respectively.

Anglo American led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 2.73 percent, following by Antofagasta (2.52 percent), Capita (2.09 percent), Randgold Resources (2.05 percent) and Rolls-Royce Holdings (1.68 percent). Enditem
